tab153rd Airlift Wing Commander 
Col. RaderColonel Rader joined the Air Force in November 1978 as a vehicle maintenance technician. Rader served at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. until separating from active duty in July 1982. He joined the Wyoming Air National Guard in December 1983 as a communications technician. He was commissioned in 1986 and subsequently trained as a C-130 Navigator. He served as a Drill Status Guardsman until 1991. (read the full bio)

tab153rd Airlift Wing Vice Commander 
Col. TaheriColonel Taheri commissioned in May 1989 through the Reserve Officer Training Corps program at the University of Wyoming. In 1991, he graduated from Pilot Training at Vance Air Force Base, Oklahoma, and subsequently flew C-130's at Pope Air Force Base, Yokota Air Base, and Little Rock Air Force Base as a Formal Training Unit Instructor and Evaluator Pilot. After departing active service in 1999, he joined the North Carolina Air National Guard where he maintained qualification as an Evaluator Pilot and Modular Airborne Fire Fighting System Aircraft Commander.
