OUTREACH: The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and the Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) are co-sponsoring a first of its kind community outreach event in the San Antonio metropolitan area to educate employers, HR representatives and Community Based Organizations on the changing recruitment and accommodation responsibilities with regard to individuals with disabilities and assisting our nation’s veterans and people with disabilities in their job search. The agenda will include OFCCP, VA and DARS presentations, panelists from government agencies, and a job fair for veteran and disabled job seekers. |
