1/25/2013 - MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- Maj. Gen. Michael Carey, 20th Air Force commander, and Chief Master Sgt. David Nordel, 20th AF command chief, along with their spouses, recently conducted a visit with the 5th Bomb Wing and the 91st Missile Wing here, Jan. 23-24.
Twentieth Air Force is responsible for maintaining and operating the Air Force's ICBM force. Designated as U.S. Strategic Command's Task Force 214, 20th AF provides on-alert, combat ready ICBMs to the President of the United States.
