U.S. Embassy Lima is located on Avenida La Encalada, block 17, in Monterrico, Surco, a suburb of Lima. The Embassy is across the street from the El Polo shopping center.
The Consular Section is not able to respond to letters sent to the Embassy’s physical address. If the answer to your question can not be found on our webpage or frequently asked questions, please contact us.
Hours of Operation
U.S. Embassy Lima’s business hours are: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, excluding Peruvian and American holidays; however, access to the Visa Section is by appointment only.
Nonimmigrant Visa applicants can find more information on how to non-immigrant visas and how to schedule an appointment on our website.
Immigrant Visa applicants will receive a letter with the date and time of their visa interview upon receipt of their case from the National Visa Center (NVC). For more information on immigrant visas, please see our website.
