The Constitution of the United States Mural Poster
Artist Barry Faulkner painted this mural in a room high above New York’s Grand Central Station. It was installed in the rotunda of the National Archives in 1936, and at 13 feet by 36 feet remains one of the largest single-piece oil on canvas murals in the country. This mural and that of the Declaration of Independence were painstakingly removed for conservation in 2001 and reinstalled in 2003. Poster measures 14" x 35".
