LAGHMAN PROVINCE, Afghanistan (Feb. 5, 2013) — On a typical day at Forward Operating Base Gamberi, Afghanistan, you will see Sgt. 1st Class Michelle John, the career counselor for the 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, bustling around, talking to commanders and Soldiers, looking for eligble candidates to reenlist. When she isn’t reenlisting Soldiers, she is busy managing the FOB’s post exchange.

Afghan judiciary representatives visit Task Force Paladin ACME lab
BAGRAM AIRFIELD, Afghanistan (Feb. 5, 2013) – Combined Joint Task Force Paladin’s Theater Exploitation (TEX) team hosted 11 Afghan judiciary representatives from the Justice Center in Parwan (JCIP) Jan. 31 for a tour of the ACME BAF Forensic Laboratory. The tour served to help the Afghan judges, prosecutors and defense attorneys obtain a better understanding of the latest forensic techniques used to identify suspects and how to properly present that evidence in court.
