MACDILL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. – The newest members of the military’s elite honor guard perform a mock funeral detail during their graduation ceremony here December 5, 2012. The eight-day course taught the students how to correctly perform all the roles an honor guard plays, to include funeral details. Six members of the 927th Air Refueling Wing, the reserve unit here, graduated from the course today and are now qualified to perform in official military ceremonies. MACDILL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. – The newest members of the U.S. Air Force honor guard began a ceremony December 5, 2012, with the presentation of the colors. Six members of the 927th Air Refueling Wing, the reserve unit here, graduated from the eight-day U.S. Air Force’s Basic Protocol, Honors and Ceremonies Course today after learning to operate as a unit during official ceremonies.
