The secretariat has received sufficient pledges to enable the second session of the
Ad Hoc Working Group on the Durban Platform for Enhanced Action (ADP) to proceed as per paragraph 11 of the conclusions adopted (70 kB) by the ADP at the Doha Climate Change
Conference in 2012.

Indonesia moves towards climate-friendly transport technologies and
measures

With the Sustainable Urban Transport Initiative (SUTRI) the Indonesian Government has
submitted a NAMA to improve the transport situation of the urban population. The
implementation of this initiative will kick off in three pilot cities: Medan (Capital
of North Sumatra), Manado (Capital of North Sulawesi) and Batam (Riau Islands).

Cook Islands submits NAMA to promote energy efficiency

Cook Islands is the first small island developing State to seek support for
implementation of an ambitious renewable energy plan. Their NAMA aims to phase out
diesel use, with a view to achieving 100% renewable electricity by 2020. Read more
