Army paratroopers were joined by friends and family members to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. About 150 Army paratroopers from three Army Reserve units from California and Texas completed the proficiency jump Sept. 11. The training event was part of a 9/11 commemorative weekend organized by the 426th Civil Affairs Battalion from Upland, Calif., and the Association of the United States Army Inland Empire Chapter. Lt. Col. Chris Bocker of the German Armed Forces pins the German Parachutist Badge on an Army captain during Sept. 11 jump at Edwards.
