The United States Mission in Bolivia

The U.S. Embassy in La Paz conducts diplomatic relations with the government of Bolivia and strives to strengthen mutual understanding among the people of the U.S. and Bolivia.

The U.S. Embassy works in close cooperation with the government of Bolivia to reach common goals.  Areas of cooperation include:  fostering economic prosperity, improving public health conditions, strengthening counternarcotics efforts, protecting the environment, and promoting commerce between the two countries.

The U.S. Embassy seeks to promote understanding of the U.S., its society, government, and policies, through cultural and information programs that reach all of Bolivian society.
