The Draft EIS, Executive Summary, Appendices and engineering report are now available for public review and comment. Reclamation is accepting public comment on the Draft EIS until October 30, 2012.

As part of the public process, Reclamation will host five public hearings in late September. We will accept both written and oral comments at the hearings. Hearings are scheduled across the lower Arkansas River Basin in southeastern Colorado:

Reclamation has identified five possible routes for the proposed Arkansas Valley Conduit. Routes could use up to 236 miles of pipeline to traverse the 135-mile distance from Pueblo Reservoir to Lamar and other communities.
