Following the 2010 US Census, California's 25th district had the 3rd largest population in the state California, with a population of 845,000. The 25th district was once the second largest district by land area in the state, encompassing areas of Mono, Inyo, Los Angeles, and San Bernardino Counties. In 2012, the California Citizens Redistricting Commission drew new lines for the 25th district. The "new" district now only contains those previous held areas of Los Angeles County and expands into parts of Simi Valley and Porter Ranch.

Our district is rich with history, full of well-known landmarks, and offers a wide range of activities for all ages. The district's largest cities include Palmdale, Santa Clarita, Lancaster, and Simi Valley-- all in the top 100 fastest growing cities of the US.

The 25th boasts the beautiful Angeles National Forest and Castaic State Recreational Area. These parks provide a great escape from the city, a chance to go camping, hiking, and fishing, all along a backdrop of picturesque views of unbelievable landscape.

Our district's largest employer, Six Flag's Magic Mountain, is also a great place for fun with the family. The theme park has the most roller coasters in the world with 17.

In the 25th District, we have the distinct honor of visiting The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum, the final resting place of President Ronald Reagan and the repository of presidential records from his administration. The Library’s holdings include over 60 million pages of documents, over 1.6 million photographs, a half million feet of motion picture film, tens of thousands of audio and video tape, and over 40,000 artifacts.

From it's deep history to it's natural beauty, the 25th District is a unique and special part of our country.
