This is the School Days & American Ways Calendar Kit for the 2012-2013 school year.

The School Days & American Ways curriculum-connected Calendar with Teacher's Guide is a primary-grade teaching tool that capitalizes on the extraordinary archive of Americana amassed by the U.S. Postal Service® over its 160 years of stamp development. It is crafted as a beautiful, oversized wall calendar filled with information and imagery about our country.

Each 26” x 20” calendar page is designed around a monthly theme, offering wonderful insight into American history and culture. Calendar content addresses primary grades' Standards of Learning in Social Studies, Science and Language Arts curriculum, specifically focusing on political science, people and nations of the world, geography, history and economics.

The companion Teacher's Guide offers 24 pages of cross-curricular learning activities and coordinated lesson plans for each monthly theme, and an extensive index of teacher resources for primary grade social studies instruction.

The Postal Store ships all in stock orders within 1 Business day and sends them via Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation or First Class Mail and should arrive within 3-5 Business Days. All stamp and philatelic orders are charged a $1.25 Handling Fee on domestic orders of up to $50.00, and $1.75 if the order is greater than $50. These fixed handling fees apply to only the portion of the order total that is stamp and philatelic products.

All PSE products are charged a flat Priority Mail rate depending on how many boxes are ordered as specified in the PSE Shipping Charges table, and should be received within 7-10 Business Days.

All other products except free shipping supplies are charged standard Priority Mail fees based on weight of the item and shipping address ZIP Code.

If your order contains pre- or back-ordered items, all in stock products will ship within 1 Business Day and any pre- or back-ordered items will ship separately as they become available.

Free shipping supplies from The Postal Store Shipping Supply site are shipped within 2 Business Days and are mailed Parcel Post and should arrive within 7-10 Business Days. For your convenience all orders will contain a carrier release endorsement "Leave if No Response". This will allow your postal carrier to leave your expedited packaging supply order if you are not available to receive the delivery.
