Paul Henry, Principal Associate Director for Capital ProjectsAs Principal Associate Director for Capital Projects, Henry is responsible for institutional large-project construction and management and environmental cleanup functions. 

Henry joined the executive leadership team in 2011. 

He is a Bechtel senior manager with 32 years of construction and enterprise management experience.   

Before coming to the Lab in 2011, he served as manager of the $3.2 billion project to safely destroy the stockpile of deadly mustard chemical agent at the Pueblo Chemical Depot in Colorado.

  • Henry’s Bechtel work includes engineering and construction projects in the People's Republic of China, development efforts in Egypt, and industrial projects across the United States.
  • Henry has managed Bechtel’s North American industrial operations and has been responsible for various aspects of marketing, engineering, construction, and procurement. He was elected a principal vice president in 2010.
  • Henry earned a  B.S. in construction management from Arizona State University.
