JPLUS - The Jet Propulsion Laboratory Undergraduate Scholars Program
The JPLUS Program was developed to recognize achievement and high
potential in students attending the 30 closest community colleges to JPL
and
Pasadena, majoring in engineering, mathematics, computer sciences or the
physical sciences. A recognition award and training to apply for a
research fellowship are offered in this program.
Faculty representatives at each college nominate students for the program
each
year. For more information, contact Richard Alvidrez at 818-354-1214.
The JPLUS program began in May 1997, with funds provided by Caltech,
which had received an award bonus from NASA for JPL's superior
performance.
