Chief Master Sergeant Eduardo Mireles is the Command Chief Master Sergeant, 435th Air Ground Operations Wing, Ramstein Air Base, Germany. The wing is one of two specialized wings in the Air Force focused on providing battlefield Airmen, multi-functional and rapidly deployable capabilities that are tailorable to respond to crises throughout the world. Specific areas of expertise include tactical air control-party and battlefield weather, air base opening and operations, command and control, theater-wide communications, maintenance, security, and weather reports. The wing is comprised of 4 groups, 11 squadrons, and 6 detachments with more than 1,500 personnel stationed at 13 bases in Germany and Italy. As the Command Chief, Chief Mireles is responsible for the health and welfare, professional development, training and combat readiness, discipline and effective utilization of the organization's enlisted personnel.

Chief Mireles grew up in Brownsville, Texas and entered the Air Force in November 1987, volunteering for duty into the Tactical Air Control Party career field. He has served in both conventional and Special Forces units at all levels of squadron and group leadership. Chief Mireles has served in four Combatant Commands and deployed for combat in Operations JUST CAUSE, DESERT SHIELD, DESERT STORM, IRAQI FREEDOM and ENDURING FREEDOM. Chief Mireles is a qualified Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC), JTAC-Instructor, and Standardization and Evaluation Examiner. Before assuming his current position, he served as the Chief Enlisted Manager for the 1st Air Support Operations Group, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.
