CPT Searcy, Carlton is a native of Fitzgerald, GA. He enlisted into the United States army in 1992 and performed his duties as a Nuclear Biological Chemical Specialist.

In 2005, CPT Searcy earned his commission as a Second Lieutenant in the Chemical Corps through the Army Officer Candidate School at FT Benning, GA. In 2008, he earned his BA in CISM; in 2010 he earned his Master of Science in ENMG. He currently has a total of 19 years in service, with 6 being commissioned.

CPT Searcy’s prior assignments include squad leader in the 12th Chemical company, Ft. Riley, KS, NBCNCO 1-16th Mechanized Infantry, Ft. Riley, KS; NBCNCO 1-17th FA, Ft. Sill, OK; NBCNCO 307th Signal, CP Carrol Korea; Squad leader HHC 3rd ID, Ft. Stewart, GA; Platoon SGT 61st Chemical Co, CP Hialeah, Korea; Instructor, HHC 3rd Chemical BDE, Ft. Leonardwood, MO; 25th Infantry Division, Schoefield Barracks Hi; and Charlie Company Commander, 2-39 IN REGT, FT Jackson, SC.

Military schools that CPT Searcy, Carlton has attended include the US Army Basic Combat training (1992), US Army Primary Leadership Development Course (1994), US Army Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course (1995), US Army Officer Candidate School (2005), USACBRNE, CBRN Officer Basic Course (2006), and the USACBRNE, CBRN Captains Career Course (2010).
