The Department of Surgery’s mission is to provide state of the art surgical care within the guidelines of established priority (active duty, Tricare prime, Tricare senior prime, space available) to all patients considered to have diseases requiring surgical intervention. The Department of Surgery include;

The scope of surgical intervention is defined by each of the individual services and changes are reflected in the individual service historical reports. In addition, emergency cases and trauma cases are evaluated for the need of surgical treatment or operative intervention.
