Forecast Discussion: Tuesday, surface high pressure moving through Arkansas will produce moderate northeasterly winds in Louisiana, dispersing pollutants and keeping AQI levels Good across the state. Wednesday, moderate east-southeasterly winds ahead of an approaching cold front will keep pollutants well dispersed. As a result, AQI levels will be Good throughout Louisiana. Thursday, the cold front will move through Louisiana during the afternoon hours, keeping the lower levels of the atmosphere well mixed and dispersing pollutants. Therefore, AQI levels will remain Good statewide.
