The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has clarified its policy on screening shoes for its security work force in an effort to ensure consistency at all airports across the nation, Adm. James M. Loy, TSA Administrator, said today.

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will meet a Sept. 30 deadline for rightsizing its screener work force with the help of a more refined plan to determine screener needs of individual airports TSA Administrator Adm. James M. Loy said today.
Citing his contributions to homeland security Patrick Schambach Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Chief Information Officer has been awarded the "Eagle Award" by Federal Computer Week magazine.
The "Eagle Award" is presented to a person in government who makes an outstanding contribution to federal information technology. Â Schambach was recognized for his efforts in creating the IT infrastructure for TSA agency and its operations in 429 commercial airports.
