Mission

The Workforce Development and Resources Section provides vital services to Laboratory employees and users to support the research mission of Fermilab and to improve national science education through teacher, student, and public programs.

Customer Service Initiatives

"We have been working hard in HR on a number of different initiatives to provide better service to all of you. These initiatives include Ask HR, Retirement Information Sessions, Tell HR and a Who Does What in HR brochure".

Why did we launch Ask HR? We want to come out to where you are. It is a convenient way for you to get to meet the people in HR and to ask questions without coming up to the 15th floor. Watch the front page of our website for next dates and locations.

You asked for retirement information sessions. So starting in late spring you will see schedules for these sessions that we will conduct at various locations throughout the Lab.

As a compliment to Ask HR we are initiating Tell HR. This will be a customer service survey that you will be able to access either online or in hard copy. You will b able to give us feedback on individual interactions with HR staff. If we are doing a good job we want to hear about it. If you did not have a good experience or get what you need we want to know about it. You can find a link to this survey on the front page for HR and for the Section.

The Who Does What in HR brochure is now available so you can easily find the person you need to help you. You will receive a copy in your mailbox and it is available online.
