What is the FRG? |

Family Readiness Group (FRG) is a Command sponsored organization of all assigned Soldiers (married and single), DA civilians, volunteers and their Families (immediate and extended) that together provide mutual support and assistance and a network of communications between Family members, the chain of command, and community resources.

What is the Role of the FRG? |
A: |
Conducts activities that enhance the flow of information between Command and Families. Provide feedback on the state of the unit’s Families to the Command. Disseminates information to Families received from the Command. Acts as an extension of the unit in providing official, accurate Command information. Provides mutual support between the Command and the FRG membership. Advocates the efficient use of available community resources. Helps Families solve problems at the lowest level.

What is a Family Readiness Support Assistant? |
A: |
Family Readiness Support Assistants are a vital link between the Commander, the Families, and the community resources available to the Soldier and their Families. The FRSA works under the general supervision of the Commander or Rear Detachment Commander.
