OPM Unveils its Leadership Profiler
March 30, 2012
OPM's Human Resources Solutions (HRS) organization recently completed extensive research and development efforts on its OPM Leadership Profiler (LP). The LP is a personality assessment designed to assist current and future leaders in the Federal government with their leadership and personal development. The LP accomplishes this by providing participants with a research-based feedback report with valuable, developmental feedback about their general personality (i.e., the “Big Five”--Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, Emotional Stability) as well as how their personality impacts performance as a Federal leader. LP's chief developer, Nick Martin, states "the LP is unique in that it is both personally applicable and universally transferable in the Federal sector," as LP defines leadership performance within the framework of OPM's Executive Core Qualifications. The LP is available now for agency use. To discuss how LP can energize your current and future leader'’ professional and personal development, contact Nick Martin at Nicholas.martin@opm.gov.
