Commercial Strategic Alliances

The AbilityOne Program has entered into "Strategic Alliances" with non-Federal entities. The purpose of the alliances is to increase awareness of the AbilityOne Program and promote its mission to create employment opportunities for individuals who are blind or have other significant disabilities.

FedBid, Inc. owns and operates The Buyer-Driven Online Marketplace where federal agencies compete requirements for commodities and simple services, some of which have overlap with products offered through the AbilityOne Program. The AbilityOne Program and FedBid, Inc. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to raise awareness among federal buyers of the requirement to request the applicable AbilityOne products through www.fedbid.com
