Wolf Pack Units and Operational Commands
The 8th Fighter Wing takes immense pride in being known as the Wolf Pack, but we don't defend our Republic of Korea allies alone. In this section you will find links and information to local units, organizations and commands that share our joint mission. As United States Forces Korea says "We Go Together!"

Wing Staff

The wing staff functions include the director of staff, 8th Comptroller Squadron, Plans, History, Legal, Chaplain, Safety, Command Post, Arms Control, Inspector General, Equal Opportunity , Public Affairs, Protocol and the Sexual Assault Response Coordinator.

8th Mission Support Group

The 8th Mission Support Group is committed to becoming acknowledged as the leaders in combat and service support ... world-class professionals building the best support group in Pacific Air Forces. The group's military and civilian members serve the 8th Fighter Wing and other assigned tenant units. The 8th MSG consist of the 8th Civil Engineer Squadron, 8th Communications Squadron, 8th Force Support Squadron, 8th Security Forces Squadron and 8th Logistics Readiness Squadron.

8th Medical Group

The 8th Medical Group offers outpatient services including family practice, dental, internal medicine, aerospace medicine, physical therapy and optometry. The group consists of the 8th Medical Operations Squadron and 8th Medical Support Squadron.

8th Operations Group

The 8th Operations Group is the backbone of the 8th Fighter Wing, providing the aircrews who fly the wing's F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft. The 8th OG is comprised of the 35th Fighter Squadron, 80th FS and the 8th Operations Support Squadron.

8th Maintenance Group

The 8th Maintenance Group provides on- and off-equipment maintenance on F-16 Fighting Falcons. The group also provides munitions, aircraft maintenance and maintenance operations support. Squadrons assigned to the 8th MG are the 8th Maintenance Squadron, 8th Maintenance Operations Squadron and 8th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron.
