Breastfeeding Consultation
Mission
Assist mother, babies, and their families in having a successful breastfeeding experience. We also feature an assortment of products and services to provide
comfort and convenience to breastfeeding families. During the hospital stay mothers are provided with professional and practical assistance by our staff and
Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). After discharge families can make appointments with the lactation consultants as well.

Breastfeeding Classes - Make the Breastfeeding Choice - Educate Early For Success
Breastfeeding Classes are offered on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month. The class is held from 1:00-3:30pm. It is located on the 3rd floor,
Mother Baby Unit in room 339. No registration is needed. It is encouraged to attend this class during your third trimester. Support Persons are
welcomed to attend.
Location
The Lactation Consultant Services are located on the third floor, Mother/Baby Unit of WAMC.
Office Hours
- Monday thru Friday (except Federal & Training Holidays).
- Breastfeeding Clinic - Monday - Friday 0900 - 1500. (Appointments, walk-ins and referrals).
