    Job Summary:
    The position is located in the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO), Deputy Director for Resource Management (RM), Office of the Executive Director (EX), Information Resource Management Division (IRM), Network Operations Management Branch (OBO/RM/EX/IRM/NOMB). IRM is responsible for ensuring that the Bureau's programs make full and appropriate use of information technology (IT). It supports the increased use of leading edge technology to enable the Bureau to carry out its mission better, with improved products and services at the lowest cost. To do so, the Division overseas and manages the computer hardware, software, and services, and for networking, telecommunications, and other information technology. Within IRM, NOMB is responsible for all OBO infrastructure servers, Help Desk, Desktop, Printers, Asset Management, Continuity of Operations and Disaster Recovery (COOP/DR), and Local Area Network (LAN) support. The Branch also participates on the OBO Information Resource Management (IRM) Change Control Board, assisting the other branches in technical architecture, researching new technologies, and preparing status reports. The incumbent serves as a senior IT Project Manager for NOMB with responsibility for managing all aspects of major Branch projects involving the assessment, deployment, and subsequent utilization of hardware and applications based projects and for providing expert technical and programmatic advice on the major projects assigned.
