My membership on the Senate Finance, Agriculture, and HELP Committees gives me the opportunity to ensure that Coloradans have a seat at the negotiating table on the issues that affect Colorado's future.

The Finance Committee is one of the most established and influential committees in the Senate. Its jurisdiction touches every piece of Colorado’s economy from tax reform to entitlements to trade and energy policy. These programs and policies constitute more than half of the federal budget and all of federal revenue.

The Committee has a broad jurisdiction over the operation of our country's health care, schools, employment and retirement programs. Please use this website as an important resource to monitor the activities and actions of the Committee. I am also a member of the following subcommittees:

Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry »
The Senate Committee on Agriculture has jurisdiction over federal farm policy, including agriculture commodities, marketing, inspection and trade, farm credit and protection and rural revitalization. I am also a member of the following subcommittees:
- Conservation, Forestry and Natural Resources (Chair)
- Jobs, Rural Economic Growth and Energy Innovation
- Nutrition, Specialty Crops, Food and Agriculture
