Gender

The literature is largely silent on issues of gender related to the integration of behavioral health and primary care.  There is limited evidence, especially in depression treatment that the effectiveness of treatment modalities varies across gender.  There is also some discussion of the collaborative care model and gender-specific conditions. Consideration will be given here to gender related questions that might be considered in the research agenda.
