After Hours Care
When the Davis-Monthan Clinic closes for the day, there will always be an on-call medical or dental provider who can be reached by calling the appointment line at (520) 228-APPT (2778). Your call will be connected to our Nurse Triage Night Service when choosing Option #1. The nurse will give you home care instructions and let you know when you need to see a provider based on your symptoms. If you are told to be seen in 24 hours or less you will be asked which Tricare approved Urgent Care Facility you will utilize.

As a reminder, after the Nurse Triage tells you to go to an Urgent Care or ER, you will need a referral from Davis-Monthan Clinic for billing purposes for any urgent care, so ensure you call 228-2778 as soon as possible during duty hours to let the clinic know: WHEN, WHERE, and WHAT your symptoms where and if you need any follow-up care.
*Note: Midnight you can log onto Tricare Online or Call the Clinic at 0630 to get an appointment at the clinic if told to be seen in 24-72 hours of your Nurse Triage.

Emergency Care and Ambulance Services

The Davis-Monthan Fire Department, and Ambulance Service personnel along with Tucson Emergency Medical Service (EMS) respond to all 911 calls on Davis-Monthan AFB. Transport decision to the nearest emergency room will be made by the EMS system. To follow-up with your provider after you have been in an emergency please call (520) 228-2778 (APPT).
You do not have to get Pre-Authorization from the Nurse Triage Line to go to the emergency room (ER) to save you or your family members Life, Limb, or Eyesight.
