Information Security (INFOSEC)

NTC Information Security (INFOSEC) courses are intended for personnel who work with information and matter, specifically classified information and controlled unclassified information (CUI) that is required, by executive order or statute, to be protected and controlled. Both distance learning courses and instructor-led courses are offered.

NTC INFOSEC courses address all aspects of classified matter protection and control (CMPC), from basic protection rules to program management concerns for the CMPC point of contact. CMPC and OPSEC courses deal with the protection of CUI, as well. INFOSEC courses also cover Incidents of Security Concern, ranging from the legal aspects of performing inquiries to the submittal and closure of security incident reports. INFOSEC courses are also offered for individuals who work with Special Access Programs (SAPs) and Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM).
