The 35th Civil Engineer Squadron is a component of the 35th Mission Support Group, 35th Fighter Wing, Misawa Air Base, Japan.
The 35th Civil Engineer Squadron, the Dragon Slayers, is known as a "Can Do" unit with an outstanding reputation. The daily ops tempo is very high due to the nearly 800-person (300 mil, 21 US civ, 470 JN civ) workforce and $80-$90M annual CE budget. Approximately $50M to $60M of this amount is Host Nation funding for new facility construction and utility reconstruction. With these resources, we make things happen constantly for our installation. At Misawa, there are two seasons: Winter and Construction.
