ROUND ONE (FY 2011)

The Solicitation for Grant Applications (SGA/DFA PY 10-03) for the first year of the TAACCCT program closed on April 21, 2011. On September 26, Department of Labor Secretary Hilda Solis and Department of Education Under Secretary Martha Kanter announced nearly $500 million in grants to eligible institutions for targeted training and workforce development to help economically dislocated workers who are changing careers. ROUND TWO (FY 2012)

The Solicitation for Grant Applications (SGA/DFA PY 11-08) for the second year of the TAACCCT program closed on May 24, 2012. On September 19, Department of Labor Secretary Hilda Solis announced $500 million in grants to create and expand innovative partnerships between community colleges and businesses to train workers with the skills employers need.
