The DASD for Manpower and Personnel serves as the principal Staff assistant and advisor to the ASD/RA for all manpower, personnel, compensation, and medical matters, and is responsible for the following functions:
Develop Policies and Procedures
Develop Policies, Programs, and Procedures Concerning National Guard and Reserve Manpower Utilization and Requirements
Analyze Programs
Analyze National Guard and Reserve Personnel Programs, Trends, and Accession and Retention Plans
Management Policies and Procedures
Develop Management Policies and Procedures for Guard and Reserve Personnel Data Systems
Manage Legislation
Develop, Coordinate, and Manage Legislation Affecting Guard and Reserve Manpower, Personnel, and Compensation
