Directorate for Plans, Training, Mobilization and Security (S2/3)

Mission
DPTMS develops and implements plans for missions, exercise and contingencies in the U.S. Army Garrison Wiesbaden area of responsibility. Prepares military and deployable civilian personnel for deployments or deployment support; provides Operational Security, Information Security and Personnel Security support to the Wiesbaden Army Airfield; assists in planning, developing, executing, and monitoring installation procedures and policies designed to protect personnel, information, operations and other critical assets from a wide spectrum of threats; coordinates with tenant units to successfully execute all missions, support requirements and contingency operations; operates the installation Operations Center to coordinate support requirements during crisis, exercises, and demonstrations.

A team of trained professionals, providing installation command and control and first class customer service while creating a safe environment for a joint military, civilian, and inter-agency customer to work, train, and live.

Plans and Operations

The Plans and Operations section is the single point of contact for tenant units and organizations requesting support from the Garrison. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Closed on all U.S. holidays.

Mobilization and Deployment

The Mobilization and Deployment section assists units with deployment, reintegration and redeployment operations. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Closed on all U.S. holidays.

Security

The Security section provides community members assistance with submission of security clearances, employment background checks, pre-travel country briefs, fingerprinting and in- and out-processing. Hours for "walk-in" services are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 a.m. to noon. The office is closed on all U.S. holidays.

Installation Operations Center

The Installation Operations Center is manned 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is the single point of contact for the command during emergencies and after-duty hours. Law enforcement and public safety issues should be directed to the Military Police.

Antiterrorism/Force Protection

The mission of the Antiterrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) staff is to provide the Wiesbaden community with a AT/FP program designed to protect lives, facilities, information and equipment. The AT/FP staff advises garrison leadership on AT/FP matters; conducts antiterrorism training for installation personnel; analyzes and disseminates threat information as it relates to AT/FP, develops AT/FP plans and programs; and conducts vulnerability assessments.
