5/16/2012 - LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Job title and unit: 47th Medical Operations Squadron family practice medical technician
Why she XLed: Baker helped the family health clinic place eighth out of the top 10 military treatment facilities in the Air Force Medical Home Patient Initiative during the fourth quarter of 2011, which helped the 47th Medical Group garner $11,000. She also tracked 150 patient lab work results with 100 percent accountability, which helped the 47th MDG earn a 98-percent customer satisfaction rating. In addition, Baker escorted an Airman to a treatment facility more than two hours away without any prior notice and cared for them over the weekend demonstrating what it means to be a wingman.
