It is the mission of the Fire Protection Branch to Prevent Loss of Life, Injury to Personnel, and Damage to Government Property Resulting from Fires and Other Emergencies; and to Provide Cost-Effective Fire Prevention, Fire Protection and Emergency Response Services.

Is to provide the Marines, civilians and dependents in Okinawa and mainland Japan with the worlds best fire protection and emergency services.
