Mission
To support Commander, Marine Corps Bases Japan by providing comprehensive engineering products and services in a professional, responsive, cost effective, and environmentally sound manner. The scope of these products and services includes providing the staff support critical for facility planning, engineering, and real estate management surveillance, billeting, real estate, environmental, fire protection, utilities management, and real property maintenance and repair support to organic units and the FMF.

Facilities Planning
Mission
Support Commander, Marine Corps Bases, Japan by planning, programming, administrating and managing Japanese Facilities Improvement Program (JFIP) projects. Conducts long range master planning, facility requirements evaluation and site approval for new facilities. The planning section also allocates space assignments. surveillance, billeting, real estate, environmental, fire protection, utilities management, and real property maintenance and repair support to organic units and the FMF.

Engineering
Mission
Support Commander, Marine Corps Bases, Japan in the programming, design and execution of HQMC funded projects. Provides construction and A-E contract support for the Officer In Charge of Construction (OICC), Okinawa as well as technical advice and support for facilities issues. Programs and coordinates Navy Seabee projects in support of the Third Naval Construction Brigade.
