Comments on Proposed Changes to Lawyer Advertising Rule
The Missouri Bar Special Committee on Lawyer Advertising has compiled input from the bar on a number of possible changes to the Rules of Professional Conduct related to lawyer advertising, as well as the possibility of establishing a Bar Committee to monitor compliance with the advertising rules. (Comments/Archive)

Advisory Committee Issues Formal Opinion on Agreeing to Indemnify Opposing Party as a Term of Settlement
The Advisory Committee of the Supreme Court of Missouri has issued Formal Opinion 125 addressing the question of whether it is a violation of the Rules of Professional Conduct for an attorney to agree to indemnify the opposing party for debts owed by the attorney’s client and whether it is a violation for an attorney to request or demand that another attorney agree to such indemnification.  (Formal Opinions, including Opinion 125)
