The LHC Physics Center (LPC) at Fermilab has started a new program to foster interactions between theorists and experimentalists, and to help make the LPC a more attractive place for LHC physicists to be stationed.
The "LPC topic of the week" program will provide experimentalists with a resident scientist who is an expert in a particular field. They will give a series of seminars on special topics, as well as offer office hours for follow-up conversations. The goal is not only to faciliate discussion amongst the collaborators at the LPC, but to create relationships with fellow scientist and gain knowledge in various fields of physics.
