WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Representatives Mike Michaud and Chellie Pingree praised the Senate confirmation of William Kayatta, Jr. of Cape Elizabeth to be United States Circuit Judge for the First Circuit. In 2011, Michaud and Pingree forwarded William Kayatta’s name to President Obama for consideration to replace Judge Kermit Lipez, who is taking active retired status.

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Representatives Mike Michaud and Chellie Pingree sent a letter to Postmaster General Patrick R. Donahoe requesting information on the decision of the United States Postal Service (USPS) to end six-day service. Donahoe is scheduled to testify before the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs next week.
