Using the latest technology, the Information Resource Center (IRC) specializes in providing up-to-date and authoritative information about the United States, its policies and positions, and their impact on current affairs. Citizens of Serbia who for professional or research purposes are interested in obtaining information about the United States may contact the staff of the IRC who will assist them with their information needs.
While the IRC is not open to the general public, it maintains an information rich gateway to useful information about the United States. It offers official policy texts and documents, travel information, and advice on studying in the United States. For general information, visitors are referred to the InfoUSA Website.
The IRC also offers extensive Electronic Outreach Services and coordinates the project function of the American Corners in Serbia.
Through the IRC and American Corners, interested clients can access the virtual library "eLibrary USA" with close to 30 online databases that cover topics ranging from current events and business news to science and the arts.
