Financial Aid for International Students
Scholarships
Academic scholarships are offered to qualified international applicants with outstanding academic achievement. These awards range from $14,000 to $17,000 per year and are renewable for up to four years. Merit scholarships are determined at the point of admission. International applicants may also apply for talent based scholarships in art, music, and theatre.
Need-Based Grants
International students who require additional assistance may also apply for an international grant from Augustana College. These grants require additional documentation and are very limited. We cannot provide financial assistance to cover the full cost of attendance. Students should plan to provide a significant portion of their own educational expenses (50% or more) through: family support, sponsors, aid through religions or cultural organizations, and government agencies. To apply for an international grant please submit the following documentation:
1. Certification of Finances: this form is also a part of the application process and is a requirement for students seeking an F-1 Student VISA.

3. Supporting Documents - to support your application please submit additional documentation. This may include tax forms, bank statements, and parental employment verification.
