Uncertainty Quantification
Uncertainty quantification (UQ) has been an active field of research at the CRF for over a decade. Research activities in this area started out with a focus on UQ in chemically reacting flows, and subsequently branched out into a number of areas of research. One key product of the numerical methods and software development work in this field has been a general UQ toolkit. Our UQ activities in various application areas are highlighted at the links below.
- Uncertainty Quantification in Reacting Flows
- Uncertainty Quantification in Shock Hydrodynamics
- Uncertainty Quantification in Electric Grids
- Uncertainty Quantification in Climate Models
- Uncertainty Quantification in Macroscale Architecture Simulator
- Uncertainty Quantification in Atomistic-to-Continuum Simulations
