The Public Affairs mission is Maximum Disclosure, Minimum Delay. Security and policy review aids mission accomplishment ensuring that Air Force information is released in a timely manner without divulging classified or sensitive technical or operational information. Security and Policy review also ensures that information will be free of security, accuracy, policy and propriety violations.
Anything that will be made accessible to the general public needs to go through a security and policy review process.
