Tenth Majesty Moving & Storage Employee Sentenced for Extortion

Summary

Avraham Ohayon a dispatcher for Majesty Moving & Storage, Sunrise, Florida, was ordered by a U.S. District Court judge in Miami to spend 24 months in jail and pay $164,910 in restitution for conspiring to extort money from the company’s customers by holding their possessions hostage. Ohayon pleaded guilty in September 2003. When Ohayon completes his prison term, he will be released to immigration officials for possible deportation to Israel. He is the tenth Majesty employee sentenced for conspiracy to extort money from moving customers.
