Airport Security Manager Pleads Guilty to Falsifying Screeners’ Records

Summary

Rochelle Miles, of Philadelphia, PA, a former manager for Huntleigh Corp., pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Philadelphia to charges of falsifying certifications on the background checks of at least 20 security screeners at Philadelphia International Airport between August 1997 and January 1999. Five of the employees had criminal records, including murder, robbery, theft, drug trafficking, and firearms possession. The case was investigated by OIG, with assistance from FAA.
