Training & Technical Assistance Services

The National Center on Safe Supportive Learning Environments (NCSSLE) offers customized technical assistance, or direct assistance, and training to several stakeholders—state administrators, institutions of higher education, district/school administrators, teachers, school support staff, communities and families, and students—to improve conditions for learning.  In particular, the Center can help address disruptive behaviors in school(s) such as bullying, harassment and violence, and substance use.  The primary areas of support the Center provides include climate measurement and program implemention.

Direct Assistance

For specific questions and customized technical assistance, you can:

  • email the center at ncssle@air.org
A referral specialist will respond within 1 business day.

  • call our toll-free number, 1-800-258-8413
A referral specialist will be available to assist you between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm Eastern Time.  If you are prompted to leave a voice mail message, a referral specialist will contact you within 2 business days.

Training

For special instruction, the Center delivers training that is culturally and linguistically competent through a team of specialists and/or experts in the field via face-to-face meetings and web-based meetings (Webinars). The Center, for example, has developed several training modules. Materials from all events are archived on this website for your use.
