Serves as the principal spokesperson and senior advisor on public affairs to the commander and other staff officers on all matters affecting the Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center.
Conducts a comprehensive, active Public Affairs program to provide service members, the public, and media representatives timely, accurate and authoritative Department of Defense and Air Force information contributing to awareness and understanding of the AFOTEC mission. This involves monitoring all AFOTEC-conducted programs for possible public affairs implications.
Serves as the focal point for and coordinates all Public Affairs matters with Air Force and other Department of Defense and civilian agencies.
Determines releasability of program-related information based on security and policy review considerations.
Manages the internal, public, media relations, community relations, and security and policy review programs for the Center.
