The purpose of this project is to develop a plan of appropriate actions to move forward to explore a holistic approach in exploring the idea of a more hybrid concept of engineering (i.e., linking 'hard' instrustructure with soft 'ecosystem-based' approaches) to develop innovative techniques to minimize impact from changing climate and natural hazard events along the coastline.
